Come and find out what its all about with a trial dive at a local swimming pool. All you need to bring is a swimming costume and a T-shirt you don't mind getting wet!
Initial Training (Confined Water)
All equipment is provided for your initial training which is pool based. The course is run over 4 or 6 sessions (shorter courses - smaller classes) on Monday nights, Thursday & Friday nights or Sunday lunchtimes. Here you learn all of the basic skills in a safe environment and get comfortable in the water - the emphasis is on having fun!
Your Open Water qualifying dives can be completed in the UK or abroad with Angelfish Diving or by referral. Here you re-do all of the skills you have learnt in the pool but in a bit more depth and a few distractions - such as waves or fish! After successfully completing your Confined Water and qualifying Open Water Dives you become a certified Open Water Diver.
Advanced Open Water
Now that you know what you are doing advanced skills can make you an even better diver and help you to explore even more of the underwater world safely.
Expand your abilities with specialities such as Boat Diving, Navigation, Night Diving, Deep Diving , Wreck Diving, Photography, Computer Diving, Dry Suit Diving, Waves, Tides & Currents, Nitrox, Drift Diving, Equipment Techniques, Stress & Rescue.....
If you are a qualified diver but haven't dived for a year or more - why not come for a skills refresher at the pool? After a one session update where we review a video, a course book and refresh all of your basic skills in the pool - you are then welcome to attend any Angelfish Diving Club session for a practise whenever you want.
